National Conciliation and Mediation Board
Regional Branch No. 5
31 July 2018
Legazpi City – The National Conciliation and Mediation Board, Regional Branch 5 will conduct an area-wide seminar on August 3 this year to be held at the Function Room of Ninong’s Hotel, Legazpi City. This is in consonance with the priority plans of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Board’s advocacy to intensify campaign on labor laws compliance, security of tenure and productivity incentive schemes such as the two-tiered wage system and gain-sharing programs and other labor relations strategies.
The Seminar entitled “Recent Policy Development and Settlement Mechanisms with LMC Convergence of Programs” aims to enhance the capabilities and knowledge of the committee members of the plant-level workplace cooperation and partnership schemes such as the Labor and Management Cooperation (LMC) and Grievance Machinery (GM) programs. So, their attendance to the seminar is enjoined as this will augment the information on new labor policies and relations.
The seminar is conducted in partnership with the Branch’s social partners, the Labor and Management Industrial Peace Advocates (LAMIPA) and Organization of Grievance Machinery Advocates (OGMA).
Participants from about 81 companies with plant-level LMC and GM mechanisms are expected to attend the seminar. Representation from both management and workers are encouraged to attend.
For interested participants, they may reach the Branch focal person Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Josephine DL. Amaranto for further information and replies to queries at landline (052) 4808467 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org,
