EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SHIRLEY M. PASCUAL OFFICIAL VISIT IN RCMB-5

Legazpi City- Shirley M. Pascual, Executive Director IV of the National Conciliation and Mediation Board arrived at Legazpi City on August 1, 2018 for the purpose of monitoring the board’s programs and activities that was being implemented. She had a talk with officers and staffs headed by Regional Branch Director Reynaldo S. Foncardas and discuss developments and coordination with social partners and companies on matters relative to the prevention and settlement of labor disputes.
During her visit, Director Pascual met with the personnel of the branch. Director Foncardas introduced everyone to her especially those who met her for the first time. All were excited and glad to meet Director Pascual even joined her over a simple gathering where casual talks and conversation happened. They apprised her about the line up of activities for her visit including the office blessing, meeting with the officers and members of the board of LAMIPA & OGMA and the highlight of her visit is the Area Wide Seminar that will be conducted by the branch on the following day.

Newly Appointed Administrative Aide VI of RCMB5, Mr. Larce takes his Oath

The newly appointed Administrative Aide VI Mr. Rey Kelly L. Larce has taken his oath of office on August 20, 2018 after the flag raising ceremony held at National Conciliation and Mediation Board Regional Branch 5 office. The oath-taking ceremony was headed by Director Reynaldo S. Foncardas with all the regional branch staff present to witness the simple and meaningful event. The RB5 staff was delighted to welcome Mr. Larce to the NCMB family and congratulated him on the new chapter of his life – being a public servant.

RCMB5 to conduct area-wide seminar on August 3

Legazpi City – The National Conciliation and Mediation Board, Regional Branch 5 will conduct an area-wide seminar on August 3 this year to be held at the Function Room of Ninong’s Hotel, Legazpi City. This is in consonance with the priority plans of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Board’s advocacy to intensify campaign on labor laws compliance, security of tenure and productivity incentive schemes such as the two-tiered wage system and gain-sharing programs and other labor relations strategies.

Legazpi City – An Account Executive from a popular wholesaler of mobile smart phones sought the intervention of the Branch through the Single-Entry Approach (SEnA) program for alleged illegal dismissal. He came to the Branch requesting for assistance in getting back his money claims representing unpaid salaries, incentive pay, 13th month pay, tax refund, reimbursement of expenses covering the period of two months and other incentives he believes accrue to him, among others.

Legazpi City – One of the pioneer employees of the National Conciliation and Mediation Board, Regional Branch 5 (NCMB-RB5) Mrs Gloria Cope finally gets to enjoy her retirement effective July 13, 2018 at the compulsory age of 65.

The Directorate and staff of NCMB-RB5 recently bid goodbye to one of its hard-working, dedicated and longest-serving employee in a sentiments-filled but fitting ceremony especially dedicated to her.
